I've been every weekend for the past 3 weeks. Did very well with the exception of last weekend (only caught 10 specs)

Catch about half on live bull minnows and half on clear/red sparkle beetle popping cork.

Has anyone been catching reds out that way?

typically i drift different parts of the lake until i find a steady bite. i usually fish LSU chub under cork or something similar. but its been nearly a year since i've been.

Ive been reading that the colder it gets you have to find deeper canals but im not to familiar of which canals are the deepest. Do you catch fish in the Lake drifting when its cold like this?

Just got down here this morning. Lake decade was a little rough and I haven't seen anyone fishing yet. Gotta set up the decoys for now but Ill be hitting the canals after.

Ill come back with a report later today.

Working today and tomorrow.

I've been going right past the rigs, heading east to a point about 100 yards from bank and drifting. You will find yourself with plenty of neighbors!

ETA: Been catching ~2 limits

To the east(lake hatch/theriot) towards the rocks along the bank or the other side the lake?

Where are some good spots for redfish in the lake?
