Have you done any research. As dumb as Van De Velde is, he has every reason to believe we were getting a liberty bowl invite. frick the Independence Bowl for forcing us into a corner before we had all the information.

yeah I read everything... it was just an idiotic move. I get wanting to travel and all but the Indy Bowl probably would have been better economically anyway.
I like the Skip Holtz hire though. I think he's a guy you could keep for a long time unless he's wildly successful

Our fans didnt want to go back to Shreveport. We played there once already against a much better opponent. Liberty would have been an awesome opportunity. It sucks that it happened, but lets be honest our program is going to fall apart because we missed out on the independence bowl. We are moving up in conference and have a great future in front of us. shite happens, we'll be fine.
