If 'Bama is a dynasty then LSU is a mini-dynasty

Sadly I cannot argue w the fact that Ala. is a football dynasty at this very moment in time. Regardless of the fact that they have played an easier SEC schedule in recent years than LSU and were given a mulligan/redo in 2011 season the facts are the facts: possible 3 of 4 BCS championships is AWESOME!
Saddest of all is the fact that LSU has been right there with them during their dominance - we just haven't been able to beat them lately when it counted the most for a variety of reasons - luck, bad coaching, etc. Talent alone doesn't get you to the promised land. My philosophy is you have to be good to be lucky so props to the Tide and their coaching staff and scheduling.
Bottom line is if the ESPN 'Bama homers are going to annoint them a dynasty they may as well mention LSU as their nemesis/rival and a mini-dynasty as well. Kind of like the Lakers and Celtics in basketball. Both are great but only 1 can be called the best. Nothing wrong with saying this (IMO). We are that close to being a true dynasty. Just have to roll the tide when given the opportunity again. Geaux Tigers!

"Dynasty" typically refers to a team that wins successive national championships or multiple championships in a short period of time. LSU hasn't won a national championship in 5 years.

Some you so called LSU "fans" don't deserve to cheer for a top 5 program. Since his hire , Les Miles has won more SEC game THAN ANY TEAM and only 2 other teams , from an AQ CONF have MORE OVERALL WINS. Yeah Miles just sucks. I fricking hate our "fans". You "fans" are becoming exactly what we hated about Bama fans, ENTITLED. Yeah playing for a NATIONAL TITLE EVERY 4 years isn't enough. Winning the west 3 out of every 8 years. Winning the SEC once every 4 years is just fricking unacceptable. Get a grip on reality. If you expect winning the SEC every year, then you're stupid. Not even the best coach in CFB can do that.

What we should be thrilled about is that we have a man of class, of integrity and who has his priorities straight in charge of the program.
We should bethrilled that we graduate a very high percentage of the players representing out university. And remember, that is exactly what it is...a university.
We should be thrilled that year after year we are in the hunt for league championship, and often for a national championship.
We should be thrilled that LSU has players that represent with class and integrity. In addition we have coaches that do not stand for players who stray from these ideals.
What we should not be thrilled with is that we have "supporters/fans" who cannot or will not understand that these are all good things. These supposed "fans" only want to win, at whatever cost. Personally, I want to support a university that when the team wins a championship, I can point to it with pride. I can say we did it the right way and not have others snicker.

IMO, we have had our chance to reach the mountain top!!! in 2009, a 7 point loss to Auburn pushes LSU out of NC talk...in 2011 we lose to Bama in the Championship Game...in 2012, we lose to Bama at home with seconds on the clock! that loss destroys our championship hopes...in all these scenarios we fall short! whose fault is that?the Head Coach or the players? LSU is not a MINI Dynasty...a powerhouse team yes...eventually, we will cross over the threshhold but not until the coaches and players figure out how to pull the big game out of the jaws of Defeat...
