Looking for a new cookware set, don't really want to spend over $150. I think I want stainless steel with copper bottom. Am I right? Advice appreciated.

Do you live near a Costco? If you do, there is a Kirkland signature set for around that price.

Not sure of the quality of a set for $150... But for $199 you could get an emeril's stainless steel set. It's made by all-clad. I love mine.

I've got an all-clad set that i got for my wedding. I think they have the copper bottom you talk about. If looks are that big of a deal, I like all clad for both looks and quality.

But, if i were to start a set today I'd go to a restaurant supply store or a website like https://www.webstaurantstore.com/. You'll get more bang for your buck, you won't get pieces you don't need, and because it's the stuff restaurants use, you know it's made to take a beating and last forever.
