| Tesla stock (Posted on 12/20/12 at 9:12 am)
The stock is hovering around $34/share currently but many market experts say it's too high because it's based entirely upon baseless future hopes rather than the current production/sales of the cars (which are mediocre). Anyone high on Tesla? With Toyota now backing the company, could be a good time to jump in when the stock falls back below $30/share.

The only reason I would buy is the hope of a buyout. They do some really cool stuff, but building a car company to a competitive scale is mot something I see anyone ever doing again.

Looks like a shitty overvalued company thats been in the red for the last 5 years. That price is entirely based on

If you want something to throw money at you should check out TEU. It's a younger company, pays a 21% dividend and sitting around its 52 week low. It's a good value at least.

I agree that it will be tough for someone to get on the same level as honda, GM, ford, toyata, etc. but there is plenty of room in every market for a company with the right track record to make some $

isn't Tesla traded as a proxy for SpaceX to some extent?

By TEU you mean the transportation company out of Greece? Is it worth throwing money at? I don't have money to invest but I feel like a divident at 20% is a lot
