Straight Rye for daily pours, my vote goes to Michter's (Although the 10 year is much better). But I'm also a big fan of the Whistle Pig 11 year 111 proofer. But at that price you might as well crack open the THS or the Sazerac.

Speakin of, Unc, I still have some of this years AE Rye for you to try.

sounds good, brotha. I saw that even nunus has AE rye on the shelves.. It just came at a bad time.

NuNu's?

I agree 3hr, it was unexpectedly sweeter than I thought it could be. I can't tolerate more than a couple of pours. But it's defintely an interesting pour and the sweetness adds a little complexity to it at least.

Can't say I blame you, I wouldn't pay it again. It's not worth that price point, unless you're a huge fan of rum and "like" whiskey.

Yea 95 is up there. The one I got was in the 70 range. Like you it's good to have in the rotation here and there but not a all the time drink.

Late to the party

If you win both, leaving there with anyhing less than a riot will be more worrisome than a transit tax.

I think you're right. My belt buckle doubles as a shield so I'll be okay.
