Wireless Range Extender + Router as a Hub?

I'm in the process of moving, and the wireless router is going to be on a separate floor from my entertainment room. I have a wireless range booster with one ethernet port. I don't want my Xbox 360 or PC to use the wireless signal. I'd rather not go through the trouble of experimenting with this when I have 100 other things going on right now. Does anyone know if I can hook a 2nd router to the wireless range extender's single ethernet port and hook my 360 and PC to the 2nd router? Will the 2nd router just act like a hub? If it will work, are there any drawbacks to this idea? Thanks for your any help you can give me, fellas.

I think if you have a router that can double as a wireless bridge that you should be able to pull that off, just would probably have to hook up the 2nd router/bridge to configure it first.
