BassPro and Academy pulling gun ads and CNBC predicts they will stop selling guns and ammunition.

No way they stop forever. This is a knee jerk reaction until things die down a bit. There is entirely too much money for them to lose out on in a tough economy.

I've never bought a gun from Dicks and don't plan on ever walking in there again. They can stop selling tents and basketballs too and it won't affect me at all.

Was at Academy yesterday and i knew a worker, he said gun sells are up 300% i can guarantee stopping the ads won't hurt
