We may see lower end AR's below 1k, DPMS and RR, and you should always be able to build them for under 1k, but I dont think we will see them as often as we used to.

Like I said yesterday, saw a brand new DPMS going for $900, and that was marked up several hundred. I am sure you could find RR for over 1k right now,and thats absurd, but the market the way it is right now, you just have decide what is important to you.
With the way parts are slowly trickling in, I would build. It wont be easy, and it will take time in order to get the best deals, but I plan on finishing my build for well under 1k, and that's with BCM and PSA parts.

All you need right now is a couple of stripped lowers. You will be able to buy everything else in time as the panic subsides. If the AWB goes into effect and you have lowers already you are GtG.

I am sitting on a stripped lower right now and those are my thoughts as well. Just wait till all this blows over and even if they do get a 94 style ban my lower should be able to be built to pre-ban specs due to it being manufactured before the ban. At least that is how it worked last go round. And pre-ban uppers weren't hard to come by in the late 90's.
