Why is this guy rated so low when he has an impressive offer list?

Sometimes offer lists are not accurate or legit.

But this guy has legit bona fide offers from LSU, Florida State, Miami, and Oklahoma. You would think that would warrant him a fourth star.

Sometimes a recruiting service misses. I think Rivals missed here.

Also, Rivals has limited stats and measurables on him...no shuttle, no 40, no bench. If they don't have the numbers, they tend to keep the star rating in the middle.

Bain could be one of those guys that they just failed to properly evaluate and perform due diligence.

Hopefully the same can be said about Priest Willis

Rivals has him as the 40th DT in the nation but his offer list is the most impressive of any of the uncommitted, much better than players that Rivals has ranked much higher. Do you think the coaches may be able to see something that the Rivals dudes can't see? Seems like the top coaches all agree on this guy. I will trust the coaches on this one.

Looks more 6'3" to me.

Les, Chavis, Brick, Al Golden, Jimbo Fisher, Mark Stoops, Bob Stoops all like what they see.

That's good enough for me...three or four stars be damned.

FWIW star gazers ESPN has him as the 6th best DT and the 43rd overall best player in the nation regardless of position. He is by far out highest rated player in this class according to them.
