Ciny vs. Philly or Detroit vs. Arizona.

I've had Cincy for about a month specifically for this matchup, and they are much more consistant. Detroit I picked up and is clearly a match up pick vs. maybe the worst offense in the modern NFL.

I like the Bengals and they have been far more consistant and better lately in fantasy, but the Ariz matchup is so sweet.

DEF is scored higher than in most leagues.
17 points for 0 points allowed through -5 at over 35 points.
2/Int
2/Fumble
2/Safety
1/sack

No return yards.

Seattle had 48 points last week. The median score for the league through the season is 108.

TIA

Detroit. I picked them up and am benching the Bears D this week. Arizona is just so terrible.

Everything I've read favors Detroit slightly. I've spot played Detroit maybe 3 times thsi year and they disappoint. IDK. Arizona is just so bad. My fear is that after finally getting called out like they did they may actually be decent. Probably not.

This slightly worries me too, but I think we're both over-analyzing it. Arizona has no QB, no run game, and basically one WR worth a damn who hasn't done a thing all season because of the QB situation. And the Lions D isn't bad to begin with.

I thinks so too, but they're still professional athletes and completly hit rock bottom and were made fun and called quitters from coast to coast. Not saying they will win, but they won't be aweful.

In my league Det recently:
@GB 8 points
Ind 3 points
Hou 4 points
GB 12 points
@Min 2 points
@Jac 12 points

Cincy:
Dal 12
@SD 18
Oak 18
@KC 20
NYG 22
Den 4

Cincy has been feasting on bad team, but Det has not be great at all, but played good teams. I'm favoring Det but non confident and playing my neminis in the semis this week.

And most important of all AZ has a horrible Oline, combined with a very solid pass rush from the Lions. The lions pass rush is going to eat Lindley's lunch, he's terrible.

I'd actually be more worried about starting Stafford or the Lions RBs. I could see the Cards defense getting pissed after last week and making a close game of it at home. The Cards defense actually has solid talent and shuts down the pass very well.

I completely agree with this. Their D is the more likely of the two to come out pissed off and play lights out.

I don't care how pissed the offense is, you can't fix terrible talent with emotion (most of the time)

agree. I would not be too big on the Det players on offense.

Damn. Wish I would have gone with Cincy. I've had them for over a month just for this game but the stink of the Cardinals was too great. It will be hard to beat this performance, 29 points in my league

Detroit should feast on Arizona. I wouldn't be that concerned.

Yeah Cincy had a good night last night...my bad.

But I do expect Detroit to put up comparable numbers.

Yeah, started them over Houston myself, luckily I was facing a guy with Stafford and the chargers and still made my finals thanks to ADP. Still between the Lions D and Freeman it was rough.

We were all right about the Cards defense playing lights out, unfortunately we all discounted the fact that the cards D could destroy them to the point the Lions D was in bad position all game and Lindley would barely have to pass.

Yeah, I just confirmed, this one position cost me the game. I had so many abortions that it may not have won it but playing Cincy would have put me in contention and it's the decision I worried most about.

That's what you get for taking into consideration the opinion of every "analyst" on the internet--not saying this board but those that actually get paid to look at this stuff.

The defense didnt play terrible, stafford threw a ton of picks, some for tds which is BS because the Def/ST isnt on the field for those plays. Oh well I won anyway despite having -4 points from Detroit.
