I can't see them going past 14 teams for TV reasons. 14 would mean 6 games in the first round - noon, afternoon, and night slots on Saturday and Sunday. How do you fit 8 games in one weekend without overlapping or extending to Friday or Monday? Part of the allure of the NFL playoffs is every game is the only NFL game on at that time.

I cannot believe that Roger Goodell is THAT big of an idiot. I'm starting to believe that he is intentionally trying to ruin this game. No one with the desire to improve a sport would make the decisions that he's been making for the last several years.
