For you? Nah, that's a 1/2 64 degree wedge with the face wide open.

loved Briarwood! especially that par 4 on the front with the pond. good water on the back too. some of my best, and worst, shots hit at that place! the range was nice too!

It's gone? I used to play there quite a bit way back when.

Well damn. I know they built a subdivision on the golf course behind my old house, but didn't know about Briarwood.

Women's Hospital bought the land and built the new hospital on what used to be the back 9.

Just a wedge? JUST A WEDGE?

That was the most daunting wedge shot ever created by the golfing gods!! There was never a more well thought out par 3 than that singular piece of land barely stretching over the length of a football field. That shot required skill and preciseness you have only dreamed about! There is no such thing as JUST A WEDGE on that golf course, and no more prevalent than that hole!

It was a 9 iron for me when it was still there!

Not to mention that whatever group was in front of you was teeing off about 15-20 yards directly behind the green

White-137

If that fricker had been about 127, I would have lost about 20 less golf balls during my days of playing that course
