Nice St. Tammany Parish retread! Parish athletic director will become the head coach. Great politics there, I don't think they even opened the job up!

Larry Favre is taking it? FUUUUUUCK. I was hoping he'd grow tired of the admin job and go back to Fontainebleau

Mandeville was in the semi's last two years in a roll, and lost to the eventual state champ both times. That is fact!

Salmen won 4A in the not-too-distant past.

With nothing to show for it. St Pauls has been putting it to them and everyone in the district the last few years. Once the teams from this district start in the playoffs they lose. Happens every year.

except Mandeville went to the semis and easily could have knocked off Rummel. St. Paul's is gonna figure it out one day, and whoever else gets in might win round 1...

not the strongest but far from the weakest area of the state

That's because they cycle the same coaches around. Retread, same ole, same ole. It's all politics.

They out played and should have beaten Rummel in the Semi's this year. They were driving in for the winning score in the last minute but their QB forced a ball into tight coverage and it got picked.

Good to see Lecompte doing well, was a great coach and teacher at Salmen.

It's no secret who is the best team in that district. When your in the final 4 two years in a row losing by 3 to the state champs two years in a row it's hard to say the one and done sps is the best..Nothing to show for it??? It's all how you look at it. Do you want a team with better talent that underachieves and hangs it up week 10 or the underdog with better coach who gets his kids peaking at the right time and actually represents the district in the semifinals in 5a twice. Have Mandy play sps at the end of the season, most likely a whole new mindset around town.
Slidell with Larry will be scary.

Look I lived in Mandeville too although I went to sps. I know you are proud and all but the fact is this district is weak. How consistently does our district make it to semis? Whens the last time somebody made it to finals? The lone state title from this district is Covington in 1976. FHS, northshore, Slidell, pontch are pretty bad.
