Kids dancing during a bubble bath? I don't know about you, but thinking that was child porn would never cross my mind.

I'm not saying he deserves to be punished, but I don't see how he would be able to work in the same department.

This isn't the Sandusky scenario where McQuery (sic) should have gone to authorities. Kids in a bathtub is not the same as witnessing rape.

The employee should have gone to the Coach's supervisor.

I have no idea of the relationship between the university employee and the coach to make this determination.

For the record, I'm not advocating for the employee to get canned but for them to "exercise common sense" in the future.

I think that it says a lot more than that, if you think about it for a second...

Exactly.

That's just downright horrible...

Someone definitely needs to be losing there job...unfortunately the damage is already done to the coach.

It doesn't sound like it was during a bath. It sounds like it was after a bath.. maybe not even in the bathroom. Anyone would be concerned without knowing it was someone's children.

Yeah, but you perform due diligence, realize that this was NOTHING and don't press charges against the guy.

I was just saying it would be dumb to punish the Univeristy employee. The ADA/police department is the culprit here.

Still should have initially been handled internally.

Hell, the employee HAD the phone. Scroll through other photos on the phone and compare it with a photo of the kids.

Anyways, the ADA should be disbarred or severely punished for trying to ruin the reputation of an innocent man.

The university employee may have had a mistake, but I do not want to villify them. The university employee may not have been the sharpest tool in the shed or just saw naked children, immediately stopped the video, and reported it.

I don't want the employee vilified either. Move them to another department or something where they don't have to make decisions.

Look, I'm not advocating that this is the school employee's fault. However, a little bit of internal review/discussion first might have mitigated a lot of the headache.

We also don't know how the employee reported the video. If the employee called the PD with a report of a video of a kid masturbating is a lot different than simply reporting a strange video.

Yes, the ADA was trying to make a name for themselves.

I don't think you can fault the employee. Especially with everything that happened at Penn State, it's better to err on the side of caution.

BUT, the fact this was dragged out, he was CHARGED, etc. is where this is just terrible.

Apparently the coach had problems with his work-issued cell phone, so he took it in to get fixed. That is where the employee found the video.

What I'm wondering is... why was the employee snooping through his videos and pictures anyway?

It was a school issued phone so I doubt there is a right to privacy there anyway.

I have no problem with what the employee did.

this x's a billion. i got lady friends on facebook who have similar pics of their little girls and it's no big deal whatsoever. you don't just look at it in that manner unless you are sick.. which is just sad for you.

what was once an accepted innocent silly thing that parents even use to embarrass you later in life now is being questioned because of a few perverts? sad.
