What are the bare necessities ill need? I have a ton of friends that do it so ill get them to bring me.
I can't grow a beard. Will this be a problem?

I can't grow a beard and im not near as successful as the guys who can  but if you have friends that go then all you need is waders and a shotgun and get them to bring you so you can see if you like it. If you do then you can invest more in your own decoys and stuff. If you ever want to go we look for some extra people to come Sometimes so we can split gas. I have a lease south of Slidell in the marsh near the rigolets.

Yes, but its not insurmountable
You need:
Shotgun (minimum 3" capacity)
Camo head to toe

Waders- Isulated or pile the clothes on underneath?
Jacket- have realtree ap jacket but not waterproof and maybe not the best camo for ducks
Shotgun- considere a Benelli Nova but if I'm gonna really get into it then I'll prob want a semi auto and don't really wanna spend the money on 2 guns.

Oh, and for that first one, might want to make sure you load your gun with live ammo and not blanks made for training dogs!

I have a ton of places to hunt. Hell, I've already seen over 30 woodies in my deer stand. A few friends have blinds in the swamp up here and in Ms. Could prob get access to Angola

I've helped friends work on their blinds and they have a whole kitchen
I'm all for eating bacon, drinking, and shooting with friends vs sitting still and quiet holding in farts so the deer won't smell me

Ever duck hunted before? There is a reason that many people enjoy duck hunting and it sounds like there is very little entry cost for you besides hunting time. Sounds like it is worth a couple of trips to see how you like it. Go with your friends first...
