The owner arrived back in BR today. Look for an opening in the next 4-5 months.

Great news! I remember my parents taking me there when it was open.

Has the owner been living back in Greece?

Yes, Dino.

I was a regular at their original location on Bluebonnet back in the day and was invited to their opening event in the new building on Perkins. Dale Brown stood up and gave one of his speeches about the land of opportunity, etc. I can still taste their avgolemono soup.

I also got to know some of the staff pretty well and we'd party after hours. One guy named Lazarus could put down the vodka like crazy.

Same here. This is really bringing back the memories. I had some great meals at Zorba's. And like I said, I had some great party times with some of those crazy Greeks.
