carson - you order your parts online, or buy in shop? and where do you shop?

I order online for the vast majority. I like buying brand new, but if I find a great deal on m4carbine or snipershide, i will definitely buy from them too.

Haven't shot one, but they look amazing. You can never go wrong with a LaRue. Would you be getting 5.56 or 7.62?

5.56.

It wont be long and I will have one. I love their stuff.

I'm mainly going with the 556 because I don't want to stock up on additional 7.62 ammo.

It weighs almost the same as my AR 22, which is light! 6.5 lbs.

Fantastic weapon, but with the EOTech 556 and magnifier, it weighs about 11 lbs, as compared to the Bushmaster that is about 8 lbs. But it is sweet shooting, shot many, many rounds through it, easy to clean.

Not the exact link I was looking for but close enough.

Basically, no need to clean. Lube only.

I painted it, got some krylon from walmart. Cut some palms from the bush in front of the house and sprayed away. Just need to do the light now.

FWIW, this does not hold up very well. It gets scratched pretty easily and for me its not a permanent thing. It is easy to remove though.
