Ratliff then got to his feet and an argument ensued. Credit Jones; the 70-year-old didn't back down from the 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman (though the fact that Jones signs Ratliff's checks might have had something to do with it). Team officials had to separate what one individual called a "volcanic" confrontation.
"They're both passionate men and great men and they want to win, that's all it is," an anonymous source told Dallas' CBS affiliate. "But they were in each other's faces. People had to intervene."
Jones is a dumpster fire of an owner and it won't get any better. SP wouldn't have Loomis with him there either--it'll be the Jerry show, start to finish.

I think he'll stay, but the only two reasons he would go are money and his family, which are two pretty big reasons.

I heard an interview on the radio here the other day with a guy who covers the cowboys. He said the feeling within the organization is that jones doesn't value head coaches enough to pay one 8-10 million a year. He also said that by paying a coach that much might lessen jones authority with the players and he can't have that.
