Ran into a friend this weekend who is a Razorback alum. He told me he had read an article written from an interview with the Arkansas AD. In it, he indicated the he initiated contact with Miles, but it was for thoughts on certain potential candidates for the job, given their past UM ties. He then said that in the course of the conversation Miles said what about me and that LSU was slow playing a raise and possible extension. Has anyone seen this article? Not a big deal who brought up what but thought it was interesting.

What a pathetically lame troll attempt.

So you have this unnamed friend who told you that he read an untitled article from an unnamed source quoting an interview between an unnamed interviewer and the Arkansas AD.

How can you NOT believe the rest of the post? I mean it is so full of documentation.
It reeks of truth from every word.

I have friend who knew a guy who dated a woman who once choked on a potato chip and lost her voice for twenty-two hours.

Didn't ask anyone to believe it nor that I believed it. Has anyone seen it? He did not recall where he saw it. But if anyone actually thinks that Miles was not savvy enough to use this situation to his advantage, you are quite naive I think.

My friend told me that his third cousin used to date someone who told them this bull crap.

I believe them.

nor that I believed it.

OK

Has anyone seen it?

Without knowing where it was published, by whom or when?

Of course not.

Ahhhhh the truth of the matter.

Now to the important stuff:
Did the woman who choked on the potato chip ever recover enough to sing opera?

I like how Miles haters call him an idiot, then say he masterminded this evil scheme to put LSU to the coals.

Hey, this is not a negative or anti Miles post ok. Looking at these other coaching searches the past few weeks I for one and damn glad we are in the situation we are in with a successful proven head coach. But I find it amusing that some fans think he is somehow above the business side of the profession.

Miles was set for a review. Contract extensions are not uncommon. In other words, move on, we have bigger fish to fry.

Well that certainly adds a lot of needed credibility to the story.

Must be true.
