Name one if you can Joe Walsh would definitely be my choice. "I've had a rough night and I hate the fricking Eagles."

Except Joe Walsh didn't originate from the Eagles. He only made the last two albums in the 70's and then HFO and LROOE in the 90's and 00's respectively. Joe came from James Gang. And frick you, the Eagles are great.

He was the very first artist that came to my mind. I stopped listening to DBT's new tunes shortly after he left.

So you like Isbell solo over the DBT's? Or you like Isbell solo over what Isbell wrote while with the DBT's? Because there is a big difference between the two.

Case started with the New Pornographers. Nothing any of The Beatles did solo was equal to their work as a band. They made several of the best albums ever. John came the closest with his first effort, Platic Ono Band. Ringo's solo work? Geesh. His disco album?

Case started solo... the NP are a side act... well, unless you want to count Neko Case & Her Boyfriends as a band... I wouldnt in the context of this question.
