Currently 13-7, 5th in the Western Conference. Their 3 best players:
Stephen Curry - 19.7 PPG, 6.5 APG, 3.9 RPG: 19.3 PER
David Lee - 18.5 PPG, 11.3 RPG, 3.5 APG, 19.2 PER
Klay Thompson - 16.2 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.3 APG, 11.9 PER
All of this with no Brandon Rush (torn ACL) and Andrew Bogut.
Are they legit?

When does the season officially start?

They are surprisingly good on defense without Bogut. Lee is killing it lately and they have some really nice wins. I think they will fade down the stretch unless they get Bogut back.
Their medical staff is the anti-Phoenix though, the way they have handled Bogut's injury is a joke.

I think we'll be a solid playoff team this year.
Lee is playing really well right now, and Klay Thompson continues to prove to be one of the best draft picks in ages for GS. Curry has gotten in a groove the last few games.
Harrison gives the team a slasher element that was desperately needed, but he's still learning how to play in this offense.
The ceiling is probably fourth, but the team has shown that they can win games late. Could make some noise at the end of the season.
No kidding. I've been waiting to see Bogut and Lee together since the trade went down, but I'm guessing that the training staff has decided that stomping on his ankle is a good way to rehab.

It's so crazy that in the 21st century training staffs vary so much in the NBA. But it definitely is the case.

It is amazing that somehow the cheapest and possibly worst owner in sports has by far the most effective medical staff. If I'm GS/NO/PHI I'm paying Sarver millions to let Bogut, Gordon, and Bynum rehab in Phoenix.
