I used to think about how long it would take me to count to different large numbers when I was in elementary school. I'd usually cheat and just say I could count one number a second to make it easier

just to extrapolate this fact out.
It would take 19 years, 9 days, 10 hours, 40 minutes, and 21 seconds to count to 1 billion at 100 numbers minute
At one number a second, it would take you 31 years, 251 days, 7 hours, 46 minutes, and 39 seconds to count to 1 billion.
That is without taking time to sleep, eat, drink.
