The reality is LSU should have lost the Auburn and Ole Miss games but those teams beat themselves at the end, and Arkansas almost beat you. Your best wins were a 2 point win at home against SC and a 5 point win against the Aggies. In my view your team is pretty lucky to only have two losts because your qb isn't that good. It seems like you should be pretty happy to be 10-2 in a down year and heading to play Clemson in a bowl matchup that has been ranked a top 4 bowl matchup this year.
Tell me where I am wrong.

Most teams would have lost to Florida and Alabama so LSU shouldn't get credit b/c their schedule forces them to play two good teams. That is at the heart of the SEC bias issue, it seems like SEC teams don't drop much in the rankings when they lose to other SEC teams.
I would say the SEC was really down this year. Florida was better but not as good as they have been been in the past especially on offense, and Alabama has dropped off a bit as well. UGA seems beatable. You had several teams in the league like Tenn and Kentucky who were as bad as any ACC team.

Well, LSU fans brag a lot but I think LSU has dropped off a lot since Saban coached there. The only reason they made the title game last year is Alabama's kicker missed like 4 FGs at home, which isn't going to happen too often.
Let me know where i'm wrong.

The opponent is not the issue for most. It's the bowl game that most are pissed about. Based upon your theory Alabama and Note Dame shouldn't be playing in the championship game. See how that works?
