Saw the original Clerks last night and thought it was really good. Ive like some of Kevin Smiths other movies like Mallrats and Dogma
Im probably going to watch it anyway but was Clerks II worth your time?

i've never seen the original, but Clerks 2 is pretty damn funny

I always thought Clerks was overated. I laughed my arse off at Clerks 2 though.

Two different movies. Both good, but they are nothing alike, outside the original characters.

I loved it. I wasn't a big fan of the first movie but the second one is really good.

If you like the original Clerks you might as well watch all of the movies in that universe
Mallrats is awesome, Chasing Amy is really weird and a bit more of a Drama but its a good watch, and the Jay and Silent bob strike back is a nice guilty pleasure

There's some incredibly sad scenes in Clerks 2, like the go cart scene. It's just the world has passed these guys by and that's pretty depressing for people I identified with in the first film.
Clerks is great. Clerks 2 is worth a watch, but it's not a classic or anything.
