Got mine in the mail yesterday and about hit the floor. I forgot how much CATS was going to steal.
This thing will only last the 10 years and voters will not renew. Their share on my personal residence was $135.00, have not received on the other single family house I have.

I would love to still be paying my EBR tax bill. Ascension is crazy high.

The CATS tax is being challenged in court and will likely be overturned.

I don't think you'll get this year's money back though.

And I don't think you'll see fewer cars or more buses on the road if it doesn't get overturned.

I hate taxes as much as anybody and probably more than most, but at least here in Ascension we are getting a return on investment

If it makes you feel any better, I saw an almost full bus the other day.

That would be enough to pay for 4 months of unlimited CATS service.

The only thing that would make me feel better is if that almost full bus drove off a cliff....

CATS gets sued. Bill is paid by taxpayers. Got us coming and going.
