I have never understood why Southern is not more sucessful? Seems like they could capitalize on the fact that they are one of the largest traditional black colleges.

Is Jenkins a realistic candidate? If so, he would be a tremendous hire.
Would Southern be an upgrade from BCU though? I know he is from South Florida and has deep recruiting ties there.

SU pays better than any 1-AA job. Facility-wise, who knows cause Southern's aren't great even with their new building.
