This. My buddy GuruDesign created that one...and its actually been recolored from his original. This won't be what the team uses.

This is the Pelicans logo I've seen that I've liked the most. I'll be pretty pissed if they end up going with something terrible when they could have had his logo for I'm assuming pretty reasonably since he released it rather than trying to sell it. Bigdub's work has been on the shelf since he's been trying to sell his stuff to the team, since he's still keeping a low profile I wonder if his designs are in the mix. I didn't like his Pelican de Lis as much as this, but I could live with it.

Having seen all of dub's stuff, I feel confident that if he's in the mix to be considered that a) He'll win and b) it'll be SLICK.

He created this logo along with several others when Benson first mentioned changing the team's name. If the team were to want to use this, I'm sure he would want to be compenstated in a similar manner as any other design firm would be for creating a major sports franchise brand.
