No. The front office issued a statement saying no final decision has been made.

Word is they leaked it to gather public opinion. Methinks they might go with Brass now after all the ridicule...

That is not the word.
That is at least as much of a rumor as the story.
If they wanted to gather public opinion, why do it via a leak and not a focus group? market survey?

Also, the NBA has to approve anything proposed.
The organization has basically said "no comment" and the NBA essentially confirmed the final color preference but denied any finality to any of it.

That was just my thought on the situation, not an official word.
I think Brass is by far the safest name, and one that will get NOLA on board and won't make the entire nation laugh like they are tonight
