Ummm............no.
I kinda like Fun., and I'm an older fart, but it's pure pop, IMO. And no one will be holding worldwide concerts for Ruess when he dies.

I can see the Styx comparison. As someone that listens to country, and folk/bluegrass (more casually than country), I can actually stomach Fun, but they are nowhere remotely similar to Queen.

They're more like the new America or Def Leppard. They have songs with catchy pop hooks and lyrics that at first seem really intriguing, but soon show that there's not much there below the surface. Lit is another band like this.
