My post was not that long and I highlighted it by saying "most importantly"

Most importantly, let admission be merit based only and let people work their way up and fail their way out every year.

Drop public education. It's vastly overrated, but some argue "social skills" but that only increases the reasons why public education sucks.

Kids in 3rd/4th grade cussing and talking bout sex is so cool and shows so much advanced social skills and knowledge.

A bunch of idiots and social retards in reality.

kids below a certain standard have to stay longer, which would actually be "normal" time, just that the kids who perform above standards would get to leave early. They can either walk home if they are allowed, picked up by parents, or can goto the auditorium where some cartoon is playing for the last hour of the day.

This is such a stupid lazy American attitude. Send the good students home because they achieved some shitty minimum standard???? How about we offer those kids the opportunity be be better and get more education instead of less?

It's a terrible social environment that groups kids around people only their age with one authority figure.

It doesn't help develop social skills, it hinders social skills.
