Pickup Roller Hockey in BR - updated

I used to play a lot, but most of my friends have moved on. I'd like to get back into it.
I'd spring for some nets and there's a parking lot near CEBA that's fairly smooth and with school out it'll be empty. I have some extra skates.

There's about 6 of us planning on playing Saturday morning.
I'll email with a final time and location probably friday afternoon after we see what the weather looks like.

Man, me and my friends used to be SO into this as kids. We created a 3 on 3 league and had about 5 or 6 teams...we'd play every saturday in Port Allen.

Yeah we played a lot and it was awesome, but it's usually just 4 of us, so it's pretty lame. Thought there might be some interest here. If there's enough people I'd definitely like to set a league up.

Played in high school in the church parking lot
Tennis courts were great, but they'd usually run us off. Having the cage is perfect, though.

Count me in. But, if it gets to the point where not everybody has blades and everyone wants to start playing in our shoes and running around, I'm out.

yeah that's gay. i keep extra skates in my bag. sometimes people will see us playing and join in.

Had some great times playing roller hockey, but I haven't had a pair of roller blades in 15 years.

used to play a shite ton when little, used recycling bins as goals. I would probably be game just need to buy some new skates and another stick because i doubt i still have mine

Really just gauging interest at this point.
Looks promising so far, so I'll probably bump this a few times during the week and get an email list and figure something out after finals.
I like Sunday mornings, but I'm flexible while school is out.
There's a little lot on the corner of west parker and highland with a smooth surface that we've played in before. I'd like to keep it somewhere near campus.
Would also like to keep it kind of informal and outdoors and not get involved with Leo's or anything.
