Jap Chae - Korean dish. Any good?

I'm debating getting this for lunch and I've never had it. The Korean restaurant I frequent has a picture of it on their wall and it looks pretty good, but I'm nervous that I won't like it and it will be a waste of money.
Any FDBers have experience with this meal?
TIA.

like any food - it can be really good.

I tried it. It was decent. Definitely the worst dish I've had at that restaurant though.

When I was a brand new 2LT in Korea in 1984 I had a Korean soldier assigned to my fire support team as a translator. Whenever we went on field training exercises, and we were near a Korean village, we would give him our MRE's. He would take them into the village and trade them for Korean food. CPL Kim would return and cook the food on a Coleman stove that we always kept handy. Japchae was a frequent dish. We always enjoyed CPL Kim's cooking, but when you are comparing any cooking to MRE's the cooking will almost certainly be preferred.

Delicious, but i like it as a side dish to a good meat or soup dish.
