OT Electricians...Outlet adapters

So I bought a product from the UK for my daughter but need a UK to US adapter to use it. Are there any dangers to keeping an adapter plugged in like that permanently?

TIA

If its 110 V go for it, just change the plug.

UK Standard Voltage is 240 @ 50Hz
US is 120 @ 60 Hz.

Not a good idea to swap out the plug.

The adapter should not hurt anything, it is just a step down transformer. Just make sure it is not excessively warm.
