for those unfamiliar with it its the story of Operation Redwing in 2005 which resulted in the largest loss of special ops soldiers to date at the time. Marcus Luttrell was the only Navy SEAL to survive his four man team and he wrote a book which has since become one of my personal favorites. Mark Wahlberg will play Marcus which is fine with me other than the height discrepancies (marcus in real life is 6'5)

I really hope this movie turns out to be good. I read the book and it may be the greatest, craziest war story (or any story for that matter) I've ever heard. I get chill bumps just thinking about what Luttrell went through.

They better not frick this up.
I have Marcus' fan page on Facebook and he says he likes what he's been seeing. He's been a consultant on the movie the entire time, so if it sucks, it's not bc he didn't try to help it. At least it will be accurate to his account
