Throughout American History, this state produces hot-headed braggarts that (for 95% of the time-excluding Andrew Jackson) seem to be unable to back up their talk with action....
Clemson fans...keep a little historical fact in mind...the first president of LSU was named Sherman...
don't think I have to say anything else....

Unable to back up our talk? What the frick does that even mean?
We fought off one of the first full-scale British assaults with a makeshift log fort.
John C. Calhoun went head to head with Jackson when everyone else was too pussy to do so.
We took the federally occupied Fort Sumter after firing the first shot of the civil war upon the Star of the West (Lonnie Utah can tell you it was his Citadel cadets that did so).
Preston Brooks beat down Charles Sumner on the senate floor.
WTF have we not backed anything up?

I believe the topic was South Carolina not backing up their talk.
Don't let the point fly too high over your head.
I understand that it seems a bit barbaric...but the era we're talking about is on the fringe of when dueling was still a common mode of preserving one's honor.

SC is 10 times better than LA. But USC is crap and Clemson, although pretty, has an inflated sense of its importance.
