Trading Mark Ingram, what can we get for him?

My opinion is he will never be the back we are paying him to be. I would rather give Ivory a little bit of a bump and throw the rest of his salary at a saftey or a pass rusher. What could we legit get for him in a trade?

1. This thread is past the trade deadline and the season is not over yet, so it should be tabled until atleast the offseason please.

2. Almost literally nothing. go look at what people trade RBs for nowadays. id guess a conditional 5th/6th rounder and a backup safety or 4th string corner at best. So we should keep him.

Yall really like Ingram? He has been completely useless since arriving. All he does is take carries that belong to Thomas and Ivory. We need to make some moves on defense and that will mean giving up certain things. I think we could get a couple picks for him at least.

I apologize great and powerful arbiter of the message board. I wasn't talking this season I think that was pretty well understood.

Drew has a much higher play action completion rate with Ingram than any other RB FWIW.

A couple if you are talking 6th or 7th Rd maybe. I'd rather see if he comes around in another year like CJ Spiller.

1. What we would get in return, wouldn't justify trading him. Reggie produced a lot more at the time we traded him, and we got basically nothing for him (swapped 6th round picks, and Amaya, who is not longer on the team).

2. He's shown improvement this season. Why trade him now?

3. He gives us the depth at RB a lot of teams wish they had. Maybe a 1st round pick isn't worth "just depth", but you can't go back now. Ivory has shown he can't stay healthy. Cadet hasn't shown enough to trade Ingram. PT has had injury issues in the past, but even a healthy PT, wouldn't be enough to trade Ingram. Sproles is just a whole different type of player.

4. Like others have said, this topic has been beat to death by now.

So...we don't think he's valuable.... but were expecting someone else to give us something valuable in return?

Extremely overly optimistic. Guys like him are a dime a dozen.
