I passed though Mobile Saturday and decided to pass by the stadium to check it out. It's not in the best neighborhood and I've seen high schools with better stadiums.

I grew up about 1/2 mile from the stadium, it changes very quickly to a good area by Government.
I certainly don't think Ladd is anything to write home about but it still holds about 35,000 and is 60 years old. I don't expect it to look like the brand new ISD high school stadiums in Texas.

Actually, this will be a GREAT game IMO!! Listen guys, Kent State hasnt been to a bowl game since 72'. This program is on the rise under Darrel Hazell and they are VERY appreciative of going to any bowl. Obviously a BCS bowl would have been better, but again, Kent is just happy to be going to a bowl game. Kent State vs Arkansas State will be a good game.
