To make this game interesting.

You can't make this game interesting. LSU beat South Carolina with a makeshift offensive line and spotty QB play. South Carolina whipped Clemson with a backup QB and RB on the road. Anything but a rout by LSU will be a disappointment. Watching bowl routs is not interesting, and it is not interesting to watch LSU play like crap and allow inferior opponents to stay in the game.

Clemson is not interesting. I've never been less interested in an lsu bowl game.

This would be the only thing that might get me a little excited. Even then, I am too confident in our team to seriously be worried. The ACC has proven time after time to be no threat to Les.

I'm going to bump this, because I like the idea. For anyone who says it's a stupid idea, it ain't half as stupid as MOST of the bullshite that gets posted on here.


My personal opinion is that the name "Death Valley" is not that important to what makes LSU football LSU football. Maybe it's not that big a deal at Clemson, either.

But, it would make this game more interesting than it otherwise would be (and I think it will be interesting). Reason being, bets make things more interesting.

Then, winner could give the other side a crack at getting the name back next time they play.

It doesn't have to be "official," just something that gets observed by the real fans.

Put some tradition on the line. I like it. I think it would be fun.

I wouldn't go so far as to put Tiger Rag on the line, but Death Valley would be fine.
