The guy has been great for the team (he won us a Superbowl if some of y'all morons forgot) and great for the city. So after 2 bad games we got morons saying he we should trade him for Rivers. We got another moron saying he didn't do shite in 09. Like really the guy tackles have been horrible this yr and plus Sean Payton is a big part of Drew success

Look, Drew held the Saints and the fans hostage after being offered $18 million + a year. This at a time when his leadership was needed more than any other time. He skipped the spring trainings. He got what he wanted, the highest paid player in the NFL, so let me tell you, he earned the right to be criticised, and if you look at the first 3 games, his performance wasn't so hot there either. There is something called karma, and Brees brought this on himself with his holdout.

So you are mad because the man held out for a raise. He deserves every penny he got in his new contract. The man was only making 10 million a yr. Guys like Bradford and Russell had much bigger contracts them him.

It's not about that though.

I love Drew, wouldn't trade him EVER and I still think he is a top 3 QB in the league and will be in the HoF.

That being said, when you hold out for an insane amount of money, that at the time, could hurt your team's chances of resigning key players, miss initial practices by holding out (especially when your coach isn't going to be there and you are now pretty much the coach for your offense), etc.... Then you had better deliver when it counts.

Not saying he should be traded or that he is terrible all of a sudden, everyone has their bad days at work. However when you demand more money like that, and your turnovers are pretty assuredly the reason the team lost the last 2 games when you're in the playoff hunt, then you're going to get criticism, and I don't think it's unfair.

Meh, dude loves his family more than a football game. It's irritating. Maybe he should do work in the community and quit being so selfish, then he wouldn't throw interceptions

All negaSaints need to be instantly banned. Freedom of speech means nothing here. Oh and a punch in the throat would be good too.

Saying he has played poorly isn't being a negaSaint. It's being reasonable with your criticism.

The man has done so much for this team, deserved the $$, and is a member of the New Orleans Saints. We just need to either dissect his play calmly or move on, calling him out does nothing every thread does nothing but prove we have way too many "What have you done for me lately" type of fans
