Let me preface this by stating that I am not a basher. While I did not agree with the hold out, I understand that the price of poker goes up when bulldog Jew attorneys are involved.
I am of the opinion that few athletes maintain the level of performance once the jillion dollar deal comes through. I think that he has a few good years in him but, at what point do you address the position for the future?

Holy Christ I'm not even a Saints fan and I'm finding this to be too much.

Some of you people are un.be.leviable.

I think he'll start going downhill in 2014, retire in 2016. We could pick up Johnny Manziel in the 2014 or 2015 draft, possibly 2016(but I doubt he'll stay that long)

As far as I'm concerned we're paying him back for winning us a superbowl.

I agree
At what point do you use a high pick to address the position for the future?

One full season after he retires. Team goes 2-14 and gets the #1 overall pick.

You're correct DD. I don't agree with the jumping off the brees wagon. He man is human and he's had a few bad games. Name one QB that hasn't.

Assuming this is serious, as I said before, he's fine. He's just in a slump. The team is broken right now. And he's part of the team. It always looks worse when it's the QB. The ball touches his hands every single play. He's the best in my eyes. And will remain. When CSP gets back, this team will be back in order and looking to kill.

It's fricking crazy, Wish I could get mod control for about 10 min. Id clear out all the bandwagoners, trolls, and wannabee's.

This might be worse than the rant and it's had it's moments. The guy had a bad game, shite happens.
