Are you saying that Drew Brees is no longer a good QB? Please name the better starters, in order.

Are you saying that we shouldn't have resigned him?

Please give us your alternate solution.

I'll hang up and listen.

The only "act" I see is him playing football for my favorite team in the world, and with the exception of a bad game every now and then, doing it extremely fricking well.

So, no, I'm not tired of that.

Oh, and go frick yourself. That, too.

dude we get it. you're part of the "it's now cool to hate Brees" crowd.

you fricktards couldn't be further from the truth with all this bullshite. No one is denying that he is playing bad but all this shite you're spewing out of your bandwagon mouth... is not justified.

If you people legitimately think that Drew Brees is the voice of the NFL players and that "frick anyone who criticizes Breesus, he won us a Super Bowl", then you probably should just keep your heads in the clouds.

He needs to go play football like he's capable of doing. That's the bottom line. When the team is doing poorly, it's time to eliminate all of the extra and focus. There are a dozen examples of him doing the opposite this year. The end result is games like last night and an overall poor season. The entirety of the Saints' problems this year is not on him, but he has also been as much of the problem as anyone else at times. He, of all people, should not be in that position.

If I had a poor performance at work, I would not openly tell the people I answer to that all that matters to me is how great my life is outside of work. I would shut up and apologize for a poor performance, period.

Luckily he does not have to answer to the world of twitter. Also perhaps he is making himself feel better by focusing on important things like his family. Or should he have stopped having kids after 1 cause they are a distraction? Fact, Brees hasn't won a super bowl since he has had more than 1 kid.

He's not earning his money this season. I'll certainly say that.

This "Cowboys fan in 2004" bullshite and "bandwagon" whatever is retarded. Living through Wade Wilson, the Billy Joes and Aaron Brooks has made me appreciate and value what the Saints have done recently even more. That's what makes it so frustrating to think that the team could be reverting, or that certain players aren't giving their all. People were ready to pull out the grocery bags in late September. No one wants to go back to that, and the players and the team should show that to them, that's not a possibility. Some of the performances this season have shown otherwise.

In a large sense, all pro athletes answer to their fans. Not in a literal sense, in that the fans cannot fire him, but public perception is a big deal.

What?

He was guaranteed $60 million in salary and bonuses this year. Has it paid off?

3674 passing yards.
31 TDs (tops in the league going into this week)
92 Quarterback Rating

Meanwhile:

WORST Defense in the League, Possibly in HISTORY.

No Running Game until 4 weeks ago.

Missing a top 5 Coach in the entire NFL and probably the best Offensive Play-Caller in the NFL, maybe ever.

You are retarded.

You make it sound like this is a regular season for us and you are acting like there wasnt some major BS that has messed with this season.

To say drew brees isnt giving it his all and his attention is somewhere else is just dumb. You arent around him 24/7 so until you are you have no justification to make a statement like that.

If you actually watched Aaron Brooks then you should be reveling in the fact that we have a Quarter Back who, when he has a shitty game, takes it really hard and accepts the blame instead of laughing on the sideline. Have you heard about anyone on our offensive line attacking Drew Brees on the plane home bc they thought he didnt take the loss hard enough?

I said he was effectively the voice of the NFL players. Which he is:
LINK
quote:

He served as a Player Representative to the NFLPA for four years. In 2008, Brees was elected as a Vice President on the NFLPA Executive Committee, a true testament to his leadership abilities off the field.

again, you're dumb, so is this thread

Please fall off the Saints' bandwagon. Drew is a class act, on and off the field. I may be a newb here but I have been a diehard Saints' fan since I was four years old when my Daddy had to turn our TV antenna to pick up the games being broadcast from Monroe, 'cause the Shreveport stations would only broadcast the cowgirls' games.

Mr. Brees and Mr. Payton will have my loyalty and gratitude for life, even if they never win another game (knock on wood). I don't like to curse online so please fair-weather fans, feel free to root for another team.

This season Drew brees is:

1st in yards
1st in touchdowns
2nd in completions
1st in attempts
2nd in Yrds per game
and sadly, yes, first in INTs
and 12th in QB Rating

All that with all the offseason bullshite and without a HC, mentor, and OC coordinator. And you think the guy hasnt earned his money.

Out of curiosity, have you ever watched a Saints game from start to finish?
