No problem with the draw play at all. But when we start running the ball well, and on 3rd and 2 we go empty backfield, I've got a huge problem with that.

Amen to that.
The play calling has been atrocious. Especially big situations, goal line, 3rd and short, and every single second half of football.

Offense should have scored at least 30. Execution sucked. Not the calls. Maybe 2-3 calls I scratched my head.

None of that changes the fact that he had some really bad play calls. When you're in the middle of a drive that's being carried by the running game, and you have a 3rd and two situation, you don't go to an empty backfield. Put a RB out there to have the defense respect the option of running the ball, even if you do decide to throw it.

Ok. One of te 2-3 calls that didn't make sense. If we get the Sproles an Moore TD and drew isn't tossing the ball to the Dline no one cares about that call

This isn't a one game thing, it's an all year thing. Seriously, he fricking blows. Heavy pass rush? Counter with an empty back set. 3rd & short? Shotgun motherfricker
He sucks and I cannot wait for Payton to get back. He's a QB coach and nothing more.

I think that was more on Brees than anything. The entire team follows his lead, and he should know to get them moving quickly in that situation.

Payton is the best playcaller in football
but Carmichael hasnt been that bad. He is Payton lite. They run an offense on the same principles.
Lack of execution has been poor this year. Dropped balls, no blocking mainly. Brees the last 2 weeks.
