Most big city newspapers have a special "AUTOMOBILE" section that comes out on Friday and/or Saturday.

There's usually a lot of ads with "one [or three] at this price". It typically lists the options, so you can see if its what you want.

I've found in the past that these offer some of the best deals.

You can also use those prices to see what carsdirect.com will quote you.

Also, it appears that dealerships in smaller cities are more willing to deal than larger cities.

Walker Automotive in Alexandria >>> All-Star Chevrolet in BR.

Saved 5K on the same vehicle by driving to Alex.
