Free agent all season, don't see him playing again.

What does that have to do with the OP's question?

Stop trolling.

I'm not sure what your point is? LSU is in the top 3 with most active players in the NFL...what more can you ask? Steve Ridley is playing well, we have a bunch of quality WRs starting or getting plenty of playing time, sure we haven't had a QB that has broken in, but Flynn is/was close and JR left LSU with limitless potential. I guess it's Miles' fault he pissed that way...

Seriously...your expectations are too high.

I would say it would have to be a 1st team all american skill position player to be even be in the conversation? Who was the last that meets this qualification? Think that would only qualify you for star status. For superstar status you have at the minimum finish in the top 10 for the heisman to be in the discussion.

GEAUX TIGERS, frick the haters. Go follow Mike Leach, Bon Stoops, and Bobby Petrino to their famed butthorn reputation and nothing to show for it.

I'm drunk and going to bed. Happy to have Coach Miles at the helm.

Herman mothafrickin Johnson.

You may have heard of him. Largest baby ever born in the state of Louisiana.

Rock star status

Jamarcus Russell.
Josh Reed before that.
Jerrard Randall....you're up...

We should move Jemauria Rasco to TE or Hback.

Heisman bro

Hey, that's just super for those NFL teams that drafted them. But my question remains, WHO THE frickING frick WAS A SUPERSTAR W.H.I.L.E. AT LSU?

And I'll go ahead and add "DURING THE BRAIN'S TENURE" for all of you confused people. Still waiting.

I'll be interested to see how Shepard develops in the NFL. That will tell me a lot about The Brain's skill position attitude and coaching ability. But, I guess that sort of thing is all on the players and has nothing to do with coaching.

I felt like Early Doucet and Rueben Randle were both star caliber players at LSU, along with Dwayne Bowe. Maybe not Heisman guys, but major impact players on offense, and both Doucet and Randle made ALL-SEC teams, with Bowe making both All-SEC and All America teams. LSU has produced a lot of very good RB's, but honestly the biggest star at the position I can recal is one I wish I could forget, Cecil the Diesel/rapist Collins. The QB's have all been disappointments while at LSU (except for the incredibly overrated JR) since Heisman candidate Tommy Hodson. That's a shame, considering how many major stars Lousiana has put into the NFL at the QB position in the last 35-40 years.

Well Ridley and Hester both had great statistical years at RB.

Bowe, Lafell, Early, and RR too at WR although they may not have qualified as SUPERstars.

JR certainly did.

And I seriously doubt Shep ever sees an NFL 53 man roster dude.

Are you seriously implying Miles hasn't developed any good offensive players???

Idiot.

Clever nickname too. THE BRAIN. You've got a real rapist's wit.

Ridley played very well at LSU.

He shook off a knee injury that kept him out of the season in '09. He was the go to RB in the 2010 season.

Standouts =/= stars.

Enjoy "close but no cigar" status for the foreseeable future, and of course, bizarre, unexpectedly close games that make no fricking sense.

Honestly, you deserve it.

Man you are one miserable SOB. What is your definition of superstar anyway? RG3, Luck, Lattimore?

How much? Not saying he'll be Megatron, but I'm more than willing to bet he accomplishes the above.

It'll take a couple of developmental years in the league, of course, just like every other skill player from the Miles era.

Yay Big 10 1975 (until NOLA calls)!

Again. You deserve it.
