Knowing that he was the (AD) Jeff Long's and administrations 2nd or 3rd .... or dare I say 4th choice after LES "The Hat" MILES?

It was not ever going to be Les Miles as much as you would like to make believe we were offering him. We threw a number out there to show other coaches we can pay big time money more than most at their current schools. If we do not have a coach by Sunday or Monday then I would say that we are screwed and will announce a mid major on wednesday. that is a fact.

Arkansas fans fear success. They'd probably prefer Chizik over Miles so really any middle of the road hire should do. Just pulls a list of head coaches that either just got fired or make less than $2M per year. That's more their speed.
