All year since Jan 9 & even at the end of last year there were a lot of people bitching about how Les can't manage the time clock , has no offensive imagination , sticks with 1 QB or any other position for that matter . Many on here wish he was gone and now like always when the threat comes along that he may the love birds come out . Is it you' re just scared that it may be a worse coach, or the fact he could go to Arkansas and come back and beat LSU like Saban does?

Have you actually read any of the threads on here about this whole thing? 35-40% of the idiots on this board still want him gone.

This is the only rational reason, IMO. Regardless of whether or not you like Miles or not, if we get a coach who can't duplicate, or better, his success, it will be pretty terrible.

And, there are no guarantees. We could lose Miles, bring in Patterson, Petersen, whoever, etc. and still have a worst record the next 8 years than what Miles has done.

Stuff like this just inflames the two ends of the spectrum. People in the middle are probably curious more than anything, would like for him to stay, but know that we will still be in pretty good shape if he leaves. Regardless if you think Les built this program or kept it even keel since Saban left, this is a prime coaching job.

Can you actually comprehend what you read? I clearly said the idiots ON THIS BOARD. So not sure where you are going with your newsflash.

I'd say there is a significant vocal group that thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread and wants him to stay.

I'd also say there is a significant vocal group that doesn't care if he leaves and thinks LSU could get a better or just as good coach.

I wouldn't say the streets are running wild with Les lovers.

More negative than positive right now on this board. WTF have you been reading that makes you think there's overwhelming support of CLM?

This, and I have to believe it would be highly likely that we have a worse record over another eight year time period withold any other coach. The idiots don't realize this.

The man has a top four coach's resume. That ain't luck. Now, if our idiot fanbase causes this man to leave, LSU would be insanely lucky to hire a man to even EQUAL what Les has done here.

Well its obvious that you have been with the crowd trying to run the most successful coach in lsu history out of town which is already embarrassing. But I have seen that you follow recruiting. You know how this works. Are you willing to totally frick up the '13 and '14 classes because you don't think the winningest coach in school history should walk?
