| How much would it hurt LSU's recruiting (Posted on 11/27/12 at 9:19 pm)
If CLM did leave. How many recruits could we lose in the class of 13 and possibly hurt our chances with the class of 14

O I don't see him leaving either but if he did that's the only thing I would have worries about is how the recruits would react

This. Most kids, except a few are committed to the school, not necessarily the coaches. A few kids will decommit, but if you hire the rigt guy, you'll keep most.

But you still have the potential recruits and almost all of the oos guys will question their decision. Esp if the parents dont feel comfortable with the new staff.

So if Gruden came to LSU, the QBs would bolt?

The in-state kids would stay but we've got a lot of out of state kids this year and plenty of them would get picked off.

But the new coach would bring plenty of new targets to counter the losses.

The out of state guys would probably be gone, Les is huge in getting them to LSU. Most of the in state guys would stay but would get a lot of pressure from other schools Also if Frank Wilson isn't retained.......

No not really. not this late in the game. Just go look at that 05 class. And the qbs said they were coming unless something crazy like a coaching change happened.

I don't know. The kid from Cali seems to have really bonded with a few of the current commits. I think it would depend on which commits stayed and which didn't.

what if Wilson leaves also. if Wilson would go to arky or aTm then we have a disaster on our hands for the EPIC 2014 class. Frank has a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with the parents. you can't duplicate that. CLM will be at LSU.
