yes... was DC in 05 and 06, i believe... took the ISU job in 07.

He was DC on their '05 NC team. Unfortunately for Texas, Chizik can't bring Vince Young or Cam Newton with him.

Yup, they won the National Title with Chiz as DC. I wish him well, just glad he isn't at AU any longer.
I look for him to be the co-DC at Texas soon.

He has to make make every reasonable attempt to find a job. AU will be on the hook for his buyout less whatever salary he makes elsewhere. It's not like he can just take off and collect the buyout. That's not how those things work.
