Supposedly bleed stopped today. Supposed to still be in ICU. I can't really say anything because I work in the hospital he was taken to...HIPPA. Just reporting what I read here.

gotcha, so what exactly happened to him was he hit by a player or hit his head on the turf? I'm hearing 2 diff stories on it.

Airline player hit freshman QB late and he flew into Shows. Shows fell back and his head hit the turf hard. He was down 15 minutes and they took him off on a board with his shirt off. Straight to ambulance and off to hospital.

damn thats scary, its like the 3rd time he's been hospitalized this year. I'm guessing he'll finally hang the whistle up after this year.

And not coach the #2 player in the nation? I think he has 1 more year in him.

Got you beat, two teams from the same school district will win state. Curtis and Scummel.

You think he'll coach another year if they win state?

I think so. How do you walk away from your highest rated player ever? On the other hand, he will start a sophomore at QB. Might be a good time to ride off into the sunset.

3 Teams from 1 Parish will win State.

I would say close to 50% of the starters for OCS.

nah, maybe 15% if that. They have just started to pull all the good players away from Sterlington and Oak Grove.

15% tops are held back and the kids who are held back were held back in elementary school because their parents wanted them to be. For example, last year mark laird was the best player in the state in 1a and he got held back in the first grade. You people are acting like they wait til these kids Are held back in jr. high.
At OCS the staff will suggest you hold your kid back in the 1st or 2nd grade because they are either much smaller than the rest of the class, aren't grasping the material as well as the rest of the class, or have a very late birthday (which makes them the youngest in the grade). Its for social and educational purposes not for sports.
Yall act like no other teams have kids held back. Many kids in public schools just fail a grade and have to repeat. Same concept.
